Abstract

Details life cycle of the crayfish, it's behaviour with regards to movement, breeding, and spawning as researchers try to develop a better and clearer understanding of it's mysterious existence. It looks back at the alarming rate at which crayfish was caught in the 1970's, and the implementation of programmes to help re-establish crayfish population.
